As a Spare Parts Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting in the management of spare parts inventory. Spare Assistants should work with picking up and delivering parts, supplies, tools, equipment, or mail to and from vendors.Maintaining accurate records and coordinating with various departments to meet operational needs and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing spare parts in the designated inventory area.

  • Maintain accurate records of all spare parts, including quantities, locations, and relevant details such as part numbers and descriptions.

  • Monitor stock levels, anticipate shortages, and place orders for replenishment in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure prompt delivery of spare parts.

  • Generate purchase orders, invoices, and other necessary documentation related to spare parts procurement.

  • Maintain proper filing systems and electronic databases for easy retrieval and tracking of spare parts information.        

  • Work closely with maintenance technicians and other relevant departments to understand spare parts requirements and prioritize needs.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: 10th/12th/ITI/Diploma-Mechanical (Pass/Fail)

  • Time Management
